Tsitsikamma National Park/Storms River

The past 36 hours have been amazing, so we had to break them down into two posts. When we departed Plett Bay yesterday morning, we stopped at Storms River Mouth in Tsitsikamma National Park. Among other things, there's a long suspension bridge that spans the width of the river as it enters the ocean. Rather than go into the mundane details, as I'm prone to do, I'll let the photos tell the story. It was pretty amazing. We'll try to add an Addo post before we depart from Plett Bay (and it's free internets) tomorrow...

Flora along the shore

The dassie (pronounced dussie) - it looks like a big guinea pig, but it's actually one of the closest relatives to the elephant. Jen hearts dassies (and elephants).

Walking out onto the bridge - pretty long, kinda shaky, lil bit scary

Looking up-river from the bridge

Looking down on the main bridge and a shorter bridge

Views from the shore...

Glad to see that you are having such a great time. Looks like everything is going according to that 18 page plan. BD
