Dublin Fun!

Now that we're back to internet world, a short catch up for our days in Dublin.  The city pleases as many European cities do - small streets with fun shops, loud pubs and cobblestones.  Loads and loads of people roaming around Grafton Street, Temple Bar, and O'Connell Street.  Every pub is advertising its World Cup viewing, which made Beth & I very excited to head down to Safrica.  And for Smithwicks.

As any good U2 fans, we visited The Clarence Hotel, which is a few cool mod hotel owned by Bono and the Edge.  We crashed around 8pm, sleeping through the loud pub directly below our hotel (music and dancing - oh my!).

Next morning woke up to sunshine and time to eat a tasty breakfast at the Queen of Tarts (with the song "Queen of Hearts" looping through my head all day - and now through yours - you're welcome!), visit Dublin Castle, and enjoy walking through the still crowded streets of people asking for money for various causes, singing or dancing, or window shopping.
